I have always had a passion for the outdoors. Growing up in Colorado just kind of does that to you! As I explored, I gained a deep understanding of our natural landscapes and it made every adventure even more rewarding. One of my favorite quotes is, “If one finds the rock boring, it’s not the rock's fault”! My goal is to bring the rocks to life and give others the tools to decipher the secrets they hold. This has been my driving purpose as an educator at the local university for over 17 years. I really enjoy taking folks out in the field and helping them to understand the amazing stories our landscapes have to tell.
